Shrooms

1- Crochet the base with white yarn.

2- Add on the green (or red).

3- Keep going.

4- Decrease until you almost close the hole, and get stuffing.

5- Close up the whole. Crochet some white spots to put on and decorate with some felt.

6- And there you are. The cutest and geekiest little pincushions EVAR.

Wanted to post a picture of this pokéball I crocheted during the summer.

Panduro Hobby

Dear (b)log,

Something strange happened today. It was raining but there were no clouds. I think it was Polgara trolling. It's funny cause in Swedish trolla means to do magic.

Anyway, I just wanted to share a bit of news that made me happy. My favourite (and Swedish, well, technically it might be Scandinavian?) hobby shop Panduro Hobby has actually reached the UK, which means that I can order things here in England! I'm very happy, because I always miss Panduro when I'm here in England, and every time I go back to Sweden I try to bring back as much as I can from there. But no more shall I have to worry about how many beads will fit into my bag!

Super Hama Bros

Here are some pictures of Super Mario characters made from Hama beads. They are fun to make, don't take too long, and can be used as coasters, or why not wall decorations?

1-up crochet

I thought I'd start this new blog off with a picture of a crochet 1-up Super Mario mushroom that I made during the summer. These cute little mushrooms are quite easy to make, and make for cute decorations and/or good pin cushions. I might post the pattern some day if I feel ambitious.
